The Pablo simulator is designed to correct impairments of large and small motor skills of the hands, restore the functions of the hip joints, knees, ankles, as well as for the treatment of balance disorders.

The device measures the range of movements of the patient's joints, analyzes the data obtained and generates a report based on this information. Game tasks are installed into the system software, which motivate the patient to perform certain exercises, bring variety to the training program.

The wireless system allows the sensors to be conveniently attached to the patient's arms, legs, head and body. Thanks to a set of additional tools (pen, tweezers, ball, steering wheel, platform), patient can perform a variety of exercises and replaces balls, kettlebells, dumbbells and other tools that are usually used by rehabilitation specialists. During the session, all muscles and joints of the upper extremities, coordination of movements, strength in the legs, cognitive functions are involved.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE

◾At the initial stage of rehabilitation, the initial condition of the patient is monitored. Utilizing the sensors, the device determines how much the patient can rotate the hands, with what force to squeeze the fingers during various kinds of grips, at what angle bending can occur in the knee and elbow joints. Based on the data obtained, the program offers exercises, among which the physician chooses the appropriate ones.

◾ The Pablo mechanotherapy device works on the basis of biofeedback with exciting game tasks. By tracking the patient's movements in real time, the simulator reacts to movements with light, sound and tactile signals, prompting the patient to perform the exercise correctly. In order to win in the game application, the patient also needs to perform rotations, tilts and finger grips.

◾ Thanks to a large number of built-in programs, the Pablo simulator can be used for the rehabilitation of patients with minimal range of movements, when a person needs to learn how to squeeze his/her hands, sit down and keep his/her balance. There are 10 difficulty modes in total.

◾ During operation, the device creates a database in which the baseline indicators of each patient, the exercises performed by him and the new indicators of isometric strength are displayed. All data is included in a report with digital and graphical data display. Thus, the condition of the rehabilitated person is analyzed in dynamics, and the physician and the patient receive a visual display of the results of therapy.
